BIM design
BIM
(Building Information Modeling) is a technology design, applicable to new construction or renovation. It involves the creation of a single three-dimensional parametric model with all systems and equipment containing all the information about the construction project, — the exact quantity of the materials used, their prices, their suppliers, the timing of the stages, etc. utilities and plug the equipment is housed in a single model, which eliminates the conflicts in laying networks and to achieve accuracy at the design stage. In the traditional design of such precision is impossible to achieve, because the specialists are not synchronized.
In the process of architectural design creates a computer model of the new building, which carries all the information about the future of the site. BIM technology allows to visualize systems of the building, to count different layout options from the point of view of ecology, and to bring them into conformity with the norms and standards, to perform modeling and analysis of operational characteristics of future buildings: heat load, light, thermal energy, etc., simplifying the choice of the optimal solution.
Since the digital building model is created from the first steps of work, the opportunity to organize collective work process, in which all experts and parties involved to work together from the earliest stages of the project cycle, when the costs of research and making changes is minimal, and the results of such changes are most significant. Creates the opportunity for collaborative design, the purpose of which is to obtain qualitative and economic effects in the design for construction. Address issues of joint architectural and organizational and technological design.
Architectural and engineering design of buildings – these are two different subject area in the process of preparation of design documentation for construction of the building, the convergence of which helped to make the process more systematic and coordinated, and deliver effective design solutions.
To improve the efficiency of organizational and technological design requires the creation of adequate models, allowing multiple and graphically simulate and test of organizational and technological processes during the development of the projects.
